Troye Sivan

I intended to write this post and have it up for Saturday, but I completely forgot. Last Friday I went with my sisters and my friend to see Troye Sivan. I have been waiting to see him for the longest time. When he first came to Minneapolis, his concert sold out right away, and I was unable to attend. This time I managed to get tickets, and it was so worth it. He played at First Avenue, which I think is was of the best concert venues, because it's so small and feels so personal. The concert far beyond exceeded my expectations. I managed to take a few photos, so I'll leave them here for you to enjoy. Thanks for a wonderful concert Troye and thanks to my sisters and friend for going with me.
Love Always,
Nina

Procrastination

If procrastination were an olympic sport, I would get a gold medal every time. I'm the absolute worst when it comes to doing things last minute. This includes my blog. I set a goal for myself to post every week, but as it turns out I haven't posted since the fifth of January. Ugh! I'm going to go ahead and blame writers block, and school work for getting in my way. When I look back at it I kept telling myself I would get around to it. Well now it's almost the end of January, and here you go a blog post. I'm going to start fresh in February, and give myself the goal of a post a week. Let's see how this goes.
Love,
Nina

Hello 2016

I'm not one for goodbyes, I much prefer hello. This is why I'm not saying goodbye to 2015, but rather hello to 2016. So many wonderful things happened in 2015, so i've decided to reminisce all my favorite memories of 2015 and welcome all the new ones that are to come with 2016.
Love,
Nina

1975

One of my all time favorite bands is The 1975. I absolutely adore their music. The other day I was fortunate enough to see them perform live. The concert was absolutely spectacular and I loved every bit of it. They started the concert with their newest song, Love Me. They then performed a series of songs from their last album they released. The venue was quite small, which made the concert intimate and more enjoyable. I'll leave you with a few photos I took from the concert.
Love Always,
Nina

Ed Sheeran

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to go see Ed Sheeran perform in Minneapolis. He was beyond amazing. The atmosphere in the concert seemed so chill and laid back. This made is much more enjoyable. He had two opening acts for his show, Jamie Lawson and Christina Perri. They were both phenomenal and I would easily go see them at their own concert. I've seen Ed perform once before and he was marvelous then, but this time he was even better. My favorite song he performed had to have been Tenerife Sea. I love that song in general, but live it was just that much better. During the concert I managed to take some videos. I'll leave a compilation of my favorite pieces below for you to enjoy. Ed Sheeran you ginger god you've done it once again.
Love,
Nina

Great Minnesota Get Together

Let me just tell you, the State Fair is my favorite part of the summer. If you have never been, I highly advise you to check it out one year. I've been going with my family for a few years now and it's alway a good time. This year was no exception. The food is wonderful and the people watching is even better. Here are a few pictures from my trip last Saturday.

Rainy Days and Baking Craze

One of my favorite things to do is bake. I especially love baking if the weather is cold and crappy out. The last few days have been rainy and gray, which makes for perfect baking weather. I decided to make one of my favorite cookies, Snickerdoodles. They are wonderfully delicious and the perfect comfort food.
Love Always,
Nina
