The Great Outdoors

What do you do when it's very hot and humid? Go camping of course! At least this is what my family decided to do this past week. My mom planned a camping trip for us around the One Direction concert, so we wouldn't have to get a hotel room or drive home straight after it ended. This was a lovely idea, if it hadn't been eighty plus degrees and two million percent humidity. That's a slight exaggeration, but it was quite hot and buggy. Pesky mosquitoes! My whole family left for the camping trip on Friday and arrived home Monday. Even though it was hot and buggy, I really did enjoy the trip and being with my family.

The Calm After The Storm

Yesterday, all of Minnesota or at least a good ninety percent of it was under a sever weather warning. We were under a tornado warning for what seemed like hours. In reality, my family and I probably  sat in the basement for one or two hours waiting it out. Luckily, we didn't get a tornado where we were. I'm not a big fan of storms, but they do make for some cool photos which I hope you enjoy.
